Donald R. Walters

Donald R. Walters, of Antigo, died Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Meriter Hospital in Madison. He was 85 years old. He was born on June 30, 1936, in Antigo, a son of Peter and Marie (Kremer) Walters. He married Ann Koszarek on October 31, 1964, at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church. She preceded him in death on October 17, 2019. Donald was a long-time dairy farmer in the Town of Rolling. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church. He enjoyed road farming, gardening, and spending time with his family and grandchildren. Survivors include six daughters, Cindy (Jerry) Babiak of Knowlton, Barb Walters of Antigo, Linda Walters and friend Buz Andraschko of Antigo, Lori Walters and friend Les Kamin of Deerbook, Karen (Andrew) Rasmussen of Antigo, Diane (Shane) Gollnick of Antigo; a son, David Walters of Antigo; seven grandchildren, Brittany and friend Steve, Jerry (Cassie), Joey (Nicole), Kyle, Kelly, Brianna and Madison; and one great-grandchild, Connor; a sister, Marion Koss of Deerbrook; and a brother, Mel Walters of Antigo. e Walters; and a brother-in-law, Vernon Koss. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021, at 11 a.m. at St John Catholic Church with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating. Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, November 18 from 4 to 7 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home. A parish wake service will be held on Thursday at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
