ne was his only child and later in life joined him in various business enterprises. Selling diamonds throughout the country put Glenn on the road for the balance of his work life. The Sales life suited him perfectly as he knew the business, however, staying on the ground seemed a bit mundane so he obtained his private pilot's license and began his new adventures in the sky. Ballooning captivated his imagination and he began his career in Littleton, CO. with his balloon known as "Skycastle". He then participated in every major balloon rally in the Rocky Mountain region, culminating in 17 Albuquerque Balloon Fiestas. He became very well known as a safe, skilled and reliable balloon pilot. In 1996 he traded his excitement in the sky for one that offered a new and interesting group of friends who piloted motorcycles. His road warrior status started and ended with riding the American institution of Harley Davidson motorcycles. He quickly found a congenial group to ride with and then met his soon to be life- long friend and best man in his wedding, Bill Hansen. He and Glenn spent many fun and spectacular miles thereafter riding together. Favorite road trips included multiple trips to Sturgis and Jackson Hole routing through Colorado, his home state. Glenn's veteran pride was highlighted by repeat trips with Wayne Kirkpatrick and the Rolling Thunder, IL Ch 2 to the Vietnam Memorial in Washington DC, to recognize the POW/MIA issues. Glenn's last bike purchase was followed immediately by a solo cross-country trip to Portland, Maine to visit his beloved New England cousins. Glenn's ability to sustain long-term relationships was matched by his capacity for long-term motorcycle rides across the country. His adventuresome and loving heart seemed to know no earthly bounds. Glenn met the love of his life, a cowgirl then based in Los Angeles, on Memorial Weekend 1997. Pamela Kay Donner was quickly convinced to substitute equine for motorcycles and both lives were then forever intertwined. Their life together began in Los Angeles where they fostered long-term friendships. They moved to Scottsdale Arizona where Pam and Glenn were married on December 9, 2000, and their adventures thereafter were legendary. The Donner/Murray home became a gathering place for friends near and far and reflected their combined taste of Rocky Mountain Lodge décor, Native American artifacts and cowboy gear all displayed in artful eloquence. Together they worked hard and played hard including lots of motorcycle trips, boat trips (Glenn never met a boat he didn't love) and international travel. When it came time for Glenn to get off the road from his gemology career, he formed his own family jewelry company around the cannabis industry which then coincided with Pam's business interests and once again their lives dovetailed. Glenn was exceptionally proud of his unique designs and those well-known devotees of his artfully crafted jewelry. Pam, Glenn and Genifer attended numerous trade shows throughout the country as they grew the company together. It was eventually featured in Rolling Stone Magazine, Elle, Forbes, and other prominent national publications. It continues to be the only cannabis-inspired luxury jewelry line in the world today. Glenn's life ended abruptly just as he was preparing to mount his motorcycle for a ride with friends. He lingered for just a while allowing time for goodbyes with his wife and daughter. He had mentioned he wanted to go out by "hitting the wall" and it seemed to end as he wanted. Glenn was a member of the world's oldest fraternity...the Freemasons. He is survived by his wife, Pam Donner, his daughter Genifer Murray, brother Lynn Murray (Della), Uncle Cecil Murray (Aunt Linda) and a host of Maine cousins. A special acknowledgment and thank you goes out to close family friends Steve and Holly Cottrell along with deep gratitude to the legends of friends and colleagues for all their remembrances and generosity to Glenn's family at this most difficult time. A Celebration of Glenn's Adventuresome Life will be held on January 15, 2022, at Monterra at WestWorld from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. "Enjoy the journey"
