Donna Sue (Lewis) Zimmerman, 84, passed away during the afternoon of September 30, 2025. She was born in Washington on October 19, 1940, the daughter of Charles and Virginia Lewis. She was married to Arthur Elwood Zimmerman until his passing in 1985. Donna was a graduate of Petersburg High School. She was retired from NASCO, where she was a line worker. A woman of many interests, Donna enjoyed painting, adult coloring, and cooking. She was a member of the Beloved Widows Group in Washington and attended the Gospel Center in Petersburg. Those left to cherish Donna's memory include her long-time companion, Bernard Spalding; her son, Phillip (Jennifer) Zimmerman; grandchildren: Cody (Carolyn) Zimmerman, Colton Zimmerman, Kenny Zimmerman, Luke Zimmerman, Tiffany (Aaron) Seitz, Mason Spalding; and nephews: Wade (Julie) Russell, Gary (Laura) Russell, and Troy (Anita) Russell. Donna was blessed with nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary, 620 East Viola Avenue, Washington, Indiana. Funeral services for Donna Zimmerman will immediately follow the visitation on October 4, 2025, and begin at 1:00 pm, also at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary. Denny Chanley will conduct the service.
