joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved "peace and quiet," yet was an avid traveler who explored the world with her sisters and friends, from the bright lights of Broadway and London to the beaches of Hawaii and Florida. At home, she was a fixture of her community, often found water walking or Planet Fitness or enjoying her favorite British shows like Call the Midwife and Doc Martin. A voracious reader and a fan of road trips, she lived life with a curiosity that never faded. Deborah was a loving and dedicated wife and mother. She is described as being a "force of nature," she was kind, caring, and put the needs of others in front of her own. That being said, she loved to ask lots of questions of those around her, due to her genuine fascination with people, sharing her kindness, and sometimes, unsolicited advice, with all she encountered. Deborah is survived by her husband, Tom Casey; her children, Nathan Casey of Des Moines, Beth Casey of Rochester, Minnesota, and Mike Casey of Ames; her siblings, Jeanne (Joe) Price of Newport Beach, California, Paula (Dave) Lund of Prescott, Arizona; her beloved grandcat, Lucy, and granddog, Poppy; along with a community of friends and extended family who will miss her vibrant spirit. She was predeceased by her parents and brother Michael Burrier.
